Accelerated Tango Learning employs the use of several learning methodologies that when used together, accelerate your rate of learning dramatically 50-500%+. In addition to the methodologies I detailed on my page-- Rapid Learning Methodologies, I have found approaches that further assist you in accelerating your learning. APPROACHES TO ACCELERATE YOUR LEARNING FOCUS ON YOUR BEING OF TANGO: Focus on the BEING of Tango - your attitude, thoughts, beliefs and approach to Tango, NOT the DOING of Tango, steps and vocabulary. Changing your BEING in Tango results in transformation and radical change of how you and others experience your dancing. Learning just the doing of Tango is such a slower way to learn. Change a little BEING, and you radically change a lot of your DOING. GO FOR EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING: Find teachers and workshops that emphasize working with Tango concepts through experiential exercises, so you find what works best for you.  There is not one way or a teacher’s way to learn. Therefore it is so important in accelerating your learning to find YOUR WAY, your way to learn, adapt, integrate and retain critical and foundational skills. One of the best methods to find YOUR WAY in learning is to explore experientially. This is much quicker than by someone just telling you how to do something. ORGANIZE FOR RAPID LEARNING: Seek out those teachers and sources of info that assist you in organizing what you learn, not just giving you info. With help in organizing a lot of info, you easily apply and evolve your new-found skills in your own practice. You learn much quicker when information is given from an organized system of teaching! Why is organized info quicker? It takes time and energy to organize what you learn - and we ALL organize what we learn in our head. If the information you are processing is disorganized, you must do the work of organizing it, which dramatically reduces your ability to learn what is being presented in the moment or later. USE DISTINCT TRAINING METHODOLOGIES: Learn specific training methodologies. You can learn 5-10X faster using specific methodologies rather than just practicing here and there without concrete training tools or methods.
